Simple, collaborative, and built around your brief.
Every project starts with a conversation. There’s no standard package or fixed price list, because good creative work doesn’t work that way. What you need depends on what you’re trying to say, who you’re saying it to, and what you’re working with. Here’s how the process typically unfolds.
The process
01. A conversation
Your initial consultation is free. Tell me what you’re working on, what you’re trying to achieve, and what you’ve already tried. I’ll ask the questions that help us work out what kind of creative response actually fits, and I’ll tell you honestly if something else would serve you better.
02. Brief & proposal
Once we’re aligned on what the work needs to do, I’ll put together a clear brief and a fixed-fee proposal. No vague day rates, no scope creep surprises. You know exactly what you’re getting before anything starts.
03. Making
I handle the full creative process (photography, art direction and design, or just the part you need), keeping you informed at the key decision points without drowning you in updates. For design work, I deliver print-ready files. For photography, you’ll receive a curated selection of fully edited, high-resolution images.
04. Delivery & beyond
Final files delivered to your specifications, on time. If something’s not right, we fix it. That’s not a clause, it’s just how I work, and it’s why most clients come back for their next project.
FAQ
Yes. I’m based in Canberra but regularly work interstate. Travel costs are included in the project proposal.
For portrait and event photography, two to four weeks is ideal. For design projects, lead time depends on complexity. Get in touch and we’ll work it out.
Not currently. Dunn Creative is focused on commercial, arts, and editorial work. If you’re after a personal portrait session, get in touch and I’ll let you know if it’s a fit.
I can handle all of it: photography, art direction and design under one roof, with one creative vision from start to finish. But it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. If you already have a designer or photographer you like working with, I’m happy to take on just the stages you need and work alongside them.
